[Jabref-users] abstract tab in entry editor disappeared

Hi to everyone,

I installed JabRef compiling the 2.7 branch of the SVN repository
because I need a working RIS import.
Then I installed the last version of the Bibsonomy plugin.

Unfortunately the abstract tab, usually shown when I open the entry
editor, does not appear anymore.

Can you confirm this bug? Is JabRef, Bibsonomy or me?
Moreover I tried to uninstall Bibsonomy plugin. After restarting
JabRef, the Bibsonomy tab in the entry editor is still there but the
entry in the plugins menu is correctly disappeared.

Thanks.
Regards
Francesco

At least without the Bibsonomy plugin, the Abstract tab appears as it
should for me. The setup of general tabs is in "Options -> Customize
general fields" - can you take a look at what is shown there?

There is one change in the current 2.7 branch that could be relevant -
the names of the default custom fields can now be translated, although
I'm not sure if the proper keys are present in any of the
translations. If not, the same English tab names as before should be
shown. Which language are you using?

This is what I have (most likely it was changed by the bibsonomy plugin):
General:crossref;file;doi;url;citeseerurl;comment;owner;timestamp
Bibsonomy:interhash;intrahash;keywords;groups;privnote
Extra:issn;isbn

In fact adding the line:
Abstract:abstract
or clicking the "Default" button I have the abstract tab :)

I am very sorry I asked such a stupid question!

I use JabRef in english.

Thank you very much for your help!

Just a suggestion. I think that "Set up general fields" is not
self-explaining. Why not "Customize Entry Editor", "Set up entry
editor", or similar?

Ciao ciao.
